Vans Silver Satin Half-Cab and Mountain Edition High
Recently we saw a plethora of Vans Sk8 Highs featuring satin uppers from Huf. It seems as though Vans has taken a cue from the skate/street wear veteran and used the material in some upcoming sneakers to be released this Summer. The Half Cab and Mountain Edition High have both been given the Silver Satin treatment. Each shoe features a smooth silver satin upper with very sparse red colored accents in the side panel stitching and the lone metal eyelets at the ankle area. The all white mid soles are void of the classic Vans pinstripe giving the shoes an extra clean and simple look. The only color on the mid soles is the iconic Vans ‘Off The Wall’ logo on the heel tab that matches the shoes upper. The laces appear to be just a shade darker from the actual shoe. Nike Hyperdunk - East & West - All Star Game 2009
Its official. After an impressive 2008-2009 campaign, the Nike Hyperdunk has been selected to take part in this year’s All-Star festivities in Phoenix. The Hyperdunk will be seen on the feet of some of the NBA’s best in a couple weeks in both East and West colorways. The East shoe is splashed with several shades of blue including light to dark gradient coloring from the toe up. The West version comes in mostly solid red. Both sneakers feature white highlights on the swoosh, midsole and laces and have an All-Star ‘09 logo on the tongues and inner soles. No word yet if these will be available for purchase, but hopefully you won’t have to make one of the squads to get a pair.

Vans Caution Pack - Chukka, Era & Sk8-Hi
While they’re not directly inspired by the “Taxi Cab” Nike Zoom Lebron VIs we saw last week, were you riding in a cab, this new pack from Vans is exactly the sort of thing you’d notice. The Vans Caution Pack consists of iconic models the Era, Chukka & Sk8-Hi. Each is done in black: a mixture of leather and suede. Nike Vandal Hi Premium - For Love of the City Pack - Houston
Sneakerheads and hip-hop go hand in hand, and one can’t help but think of a certain purple drank (sic) when imagining Houston, Texas. The syrupy flow of Chopped and Screwed rap works well with this new pair of Nike Vandal Hi Premiums that represent the strappy addition to Nike’s For Love of the City Pack, exclusive to the House of Hoops. Quite literally dripping with a concord patent leather upper that seeps onto the white midsole, the almost-tonal blue accents and gold piping make for a tasty treat. sneakernews.com
Nike Sportswear Air Zoom Toki Lux
Taking cues from the iconic Blazer and the perhaps even more so from the lesser known Zoom Sabaku, the Nike Air Zom Toki Lux takes its luxurious label seriously. Appearing in clean black and gum medium brown colourways, each with a sail blue-accented white midsole, the Zoom Toki takes the chukka/sneaker hybrid to a new level. The sail blue bottom eyelets and heel-tag are also nice touches. The lighter brown “blur” pair is coming soon only to the 21 Mercer Street store in NYC while the brown and black pairs are set to drop nationwide next Friday, February 13. sneakernews.com
